The first
Sunday with no Football since August! Can you believe we are almost half way through
February? One week gone since Super Bowl 46. The only NFL players making any
news worth reading about were in the Pro-Am at Pebble Beach. The Packers Aaron
Rodgers and his partner D.J. Trahan missed the cut, and would not play in the
final round of the AT&T National Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Phil Mickelson
started the 4th round, back in 5th position but has moved
into the lead as of this writing. Tiger woods started the day Sunday in 3rd
but had some trouble and has fallen five shots back of the leaders with seven
holes remaining for Woods. The Leaderboard, and full scores of this PGA event are
on the Official PGA website here, along with the full list of amateur scores.
UPDATE! Phil Mickelson wins! AT&T National Pebble Beach Pro-Am by two strokes over Charlie Wi. Mickelson won for the 40th time on the PGA tour at the age of 41, Mickelson remembered his Grandfather who caddied at Pebble Beach.

In Baseball news,
the Seattle Mariners Pitchers and Catchers reported for spring training
yesterday, a full week earlier than any team. The remaining teams will begin reporting
next weekend; Many MLB players live near their spring training sites and work
out together during the winter months, getting a jump start to the season.
Baseball cannot get here soon
enough for us fans, there are GMs working out deals on trades, and trying to sign
players before spring training starts. Baseball fans get ready for 2012, the season
is just around the corner, and as they say, Play Ball! “Let’s get it started” Already.
GO BREWERS!
